Would you like to practice yoga in the comfort of your own home, safe in the knowledge that you are aligned and safe? At the end of this 6-week course taught in my studio, you will have a toolbox of essential yoga postures (asanas) to select from, wherever you are and whenever you want.
The course includes guidance regarding the props required to make your practice the best it can be. I will teach you which postures are beneficial for numerous concerns, for example, insomnia, headaches, low energy and anxiety to name a few. When you have a good knowledge of alignment, along with how to sequence the postures, and find out which postures are beneficial for certain ailments you can turn your home into a yoga studio every day. Pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques will also be taught, again giving you useful techniques that will benefit your life. I will provide print out lesson plans, tailored individually for you that can be built upon and used forever.
On completion of the 6-week course, you will have knowledge of the most essential yoga postures and which props you require to modify and enhance them. One to one lessons can be provided thereafter whenever required, in which new postures can be added to your practice. As a regular home practice will see progression in your mind and body very quickly I will be delighted to help you on your journey. I credit the one to one lessons that I have taken over the years to be the motivation that has helped my practice last for over 20 years.
